Welcome to our January IDEAS Tutorial Blog Hop! This month our theme is "Anything but Flowers". Our global team is from Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Our Tutorial has 13 demonstrator designers with over 26+ projects from various countries around the world. I don't think my card is very "Christmassy" - and shows off how you can use the bundles from Stampin' Up! for different occasions!

Here's another project for you featuring products from the Cute as a Bug Suite! One of my favourites from the Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue! In fact, we're using this suite for the next Creativity Abounds Stamp Camp. Get all of the details on how you can join the fun of this event here!

Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Old Olive cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5"
Adhere Designer Series Paper to Old Olive cardstock
Wrap Old Olive Rickrack around and adhere to the back.
Cut Old Olive cardstock 2 3/4" x 4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 2 3/4" x 4"
Adhere Old Olive cardstock at an angle to card base.
Use Blending Brush with Old Olive ink to apply colour to bottom of Basic White cardstock
Use Blending Brush with Balmy Blue ink to apply colour to the top of the Basic White cardstock.
Stamp toadstools using Old Olive ink full strength and second generation about 1/2" from bottom of Basic White cardstock.
Stamp sentiment in top left corner of the Basic White cardstock
Adhere on the opposite angle to the card base.
Stamp caterpillar on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Colour using Old Olive ink for leaf and Smoky Slate for caterpillar.
Cut out using Die.
Cut out large and medium toadstool from Basic White cardstock using Dies.
Apply Real Red ink and Daffodil Delight ink to top of toadstool using Blending Brushes.
Apply Old Olive ink to stems using Blending Brush.
Adhere to the right side of the Basic White cardstock
Adhere caterpillar to the left side of the Basic White cardstock using Dimensionals.
Adhere ladybug to leaf and clear dots to the toadstools.
Stamp tracks along bottom of the inside of the card using Old Olive ink.
