Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - February 2026 - Torn Paper

Time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month the theme is "Torn Paper".

I love the Lovely Blossoms Suite of products from Stampin' Up!®! It's an Online Exclusive that came out in January. When you tear Designer Series Paper, you can see the white core which adds a lovely detail to any card!

Instructions

Cut Secret Sea cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4".
Cut 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1" x 5"
Tear a small strip off the right side of each piece of Designer Series Paper by tearing towards you. This will expose the white core.
Adhere those pieces overlapping each other to the left side of the Basic White cardstock
Cut out circle background from Cloud Cover cardstock.
Cut 6" of ribbon and adhere about 1/2" from bottom
Cut 6" of ribbon and tie a faux bow around bottom piece of ribbon.
Stamp 2 flowers (1 large and 1 medium) on Secret Sea cardstock using Versamark.
Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and heat to melt.
Stamp leaves on Cloud Cover cardstock using Secret Sea ink
Cut out images using Dies.
Adhere images to card base using Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiments on Basic White cardstock using Secret Sea ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere Cloud Cover embellishments.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Adhere Designer Series Paper to the right side of the card base.
Adhere to the inside of the card
