Creativity Abounds Blog Hop - July 2026 - Christmas in July

Time for another Creativity Abounds Blog Hop!  We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own. You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

Here's our amazing Creativity Abounds Design Team!  We are welcoming the amazing Leighsa Allport to our team this month!  Make sure you check out her project and give her a big welcome!

This month we made Christmas in July projects.  I know it feels too early to be thinking Christmas, but it comes quickly!  Never too early to make a start!

Here's the card I made featuring the Festive Cheer Bundle.  I love the ornaments in this bundle and the pine bough.  And of course, I'm always a sucker for die cut words!

Instructions

  1. Cut Peaceful Pine cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold on scoreline and burnish with Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Real Red cardstock
  3. Emboss using Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder.
  4. Adhere to card base.
  5. Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5"
  6. Use fine tip end of Dark Real Red Stampin' Blends and a ruler to draw lines in the light spaces on the Designer Series Paper.
  7. On back side of Designer Series Paper measure up from bottom and make a mark at 3" on one side and at 2 1/2" on the other side.  Also make a mark at 1 7/8" along the bottom.
  8. Cut from mark on left hand side to mark on bottom.
  9. Cut from mark on right hand side to the mark on bottom.
  10. Wrap ribbon around top of Designer Series Paper about 1" from top and adhere to the back
  11. Adhere Designer Series Paper to the card base.
  12. Cut out bough from Peaceful Pine card stock using Die.
  13. Adhere in the top left corner of card base over ribbon
  14. Adhere Adhesive Foam Sheet to back of Peaceful Pine cardstock.
  15. Cut out "NOEL" from cardstock using Die.
  16. Adhere words to the bottom of the card base.
  17. Stamp ornament on Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink
  18. Cut out using Die
  19. Adhere to the card base over bough using Dimensionals.
  20. Tie a small bow from ribbon and adhere to the top of the ornament.
  21. Adhere embellishment
  22. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
