Who would have ever thought of combining Soft Succulent and Poppy Parade?

I love to try new colour combinations so Soft Succulent and Poppy Parade was definitely new for me. During World Card Making Day on October 2nd we shared a Picture Challenge and I created this card for that challenge.

I created this pretty card using the Whimsy & Wonder Bundle. Even the ribbon is from that collection! It's amazing what you can use our Stampin' Blends for!

Here's the picture we shared. I immediately saw Soft Succulent and Poppy Parade.

Instructions

Cut Soft Succulent card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Soft Succulent card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder
Adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
Cut out 2 large trees using Die - one from Vellum Card stock and one from Crumb Cake.
Adhere to card base using Glue Dots
Cut out the small trees from Poppy Parade card stock
Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.
Cut about 10" of ribbon. Colour using the Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blend.
Gently pull a thread from the edge until it starts to unravel. Keep the threads in your fingers so they stay together.
Tie a bow with all of the threads and adhere to the card base using a Glue Dot.
Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock. Cut out using Die
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.

Welcome to the Packaging Blog Hop. We are a group of Demonstrators that love to share what we do. This blog hop is perfect for the time of year! It's getting close to Christmas and we are all thinking about gifts and packaging them!

I used the Pretty Pillow Gift Dies for my projects today. These are fun little pillow boxes you make using dies from the Gingerbread & Peppermint Product Suite. They are perfect for little gifts such as jewellery or perhaps as decorations on your Christmas table with a hidden chocolate.

You can use card stock, Kraft Paper or Designer Series Paper for the box - all work equally as well. The set of dies include lots of options for decorating your boxes. Check out the boxes I've created using a variety of paper and decorations. You can check out my Youtube Video from a recent live event where I should you how to make some of these boxes.
