Festive Friday Challenges - FF0097 - National Cookie Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
This week’s challenge FF #0097 - National Cookie Day
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. I love to create shaker cards and was excited to see that on the Inspo List. I used the Nothings Better Than Bundle to create this fun card. The Medium Clear Envelope makes it so easy to create a Shaker Card. You can check out my Video on using the Clear Envelopes for Shaker Cards.
Instructions
- Cut Early Espresso card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on scoreline to form card base.
- Cut Very Vanilla card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Early Espresso Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to the Very Vanilla card stock
- Cut Very Vanilla card stock 3" x 4 1/4"
- Cut out "Cookies" using Die from Early Espresso card stock with Adhesive Foam Sheets.
- Adhere to the bottom right corner of the Very Vanilla card stock
- Stamp sentiment above "Cookies" using Early Espresso ink.
- Stamp cookies using Early Espresso ink and Crumb Cake ink
- Adhere to the Very Vanilla card stock piece.
- Insert into a Clear Medium envelope - pushed to the bottom corner.
- Fold over excess on side and adhere excess on the back using Tear and Tape Adhesive.
- Add sequins to the inside of the envelope.
- Seal
- Adhere to the card base using Tear and Tape Adhesive
- Cut Very Vanilla card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 5 1/4"
- Adhere to the bottom of the Very Vanilla card stock.
- Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink
- Stamp cookies using Early Espresso ink and Crumb Cake ink
- Adhere to the inside of the card
