Having Fun with the Plaid Builder Dies and Best Year

I've been having lots of fun making cards using the Best Year Bundle which includes the Plaid Builder Dies.  Have you noticed it in the Annual Catalogue?  The stamp set is amazing - it includes sentiments for every season!  For today's card, I couldn't help myself and had to try a card for the holidays using Red and Green Foil Sheets.  I love how it turned out!  What do you think?

I love how bright and shiny this card is - just like a package under the tree!

Instructions

  1. Cut Thick Whisper White cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form a card base.
  2. Cut Green Foil Sheet 4" x 5 1/2".
  3. Cut a 4" x 5 1/2" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
  4. Cut out using Large Plaid Die.  TIP:  Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet.  It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces
  5. Remove the cut out pieces and then cut the foil to 3 3/4" x 5".
  6. Peel off backing and adhere to the card base.
  7. Cut Red Foil Sheet 4" x 5 1/2".
  8. Cut a 4" x 5 1/2" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
  9. Cut out using Thin Plaid Die.  TIP:  Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet.  It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces.
  10. Remove the cut out pieces and then cut the foil to 3 3/4" x 5".
  11. Peel off backing and adhere to the card base.
  12. Cut Whisper White cardstock 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" and stamp sentiment using Real Red ink.
  13. Cut Red Foil sheet 1 3/4" x 2 3/4"
  14. Adhere sentiment using Stampin' Seal.
  15. Adhere to top right on card base using Dimensionals.
  16. Tie a 10" piece of ribbon on left hand side and tie a bow.
