Metallics in Plaid

Here's another card featuring the Best Year Bundle.  This time I've used the Brushed Metallic cardstock.  I love how you can make anytime of card with this bundle - today's card is perfect for that special man in your life!  


Instructions

  1. Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form a card base.
  2. Cut Copper Brushed Metallic Cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Stampin' Seal.
  3. Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  4. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
  5. Cut out using thin plaid builder Die.  TIP:  Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet.  It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces
  6. Remove the cut out pieces.
  7. Cut Brushed Gold Metallic cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  8. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
  9. Cut out using Thick Plaid Die.  TIP:  Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet.  It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces.
  10. Remove the cut out pieces.
  11. Peel off backing and adhere to the Early Espresso piece so that the cross is in the lower left corner of the opening.
  12. Cut Very Vanilla 3 3/4" x 5"
  13. Peel off backing of the Early Espresso piece and adhere to the Very Vanilla piece.  Trim edges to fit.
  14. Cut Brushed Copper Metallic cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  15. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Adhesive Sheet and adhere to the back.
  16. Cut out using thin plaid builder Die.  TIP:  Run through your Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine multiple time to try to cut through the backing on the Adhesive Sheet.  It will make it easier to remove all of the cut out pieces
  17. Remove the cut out pieces.
  18. Peel off backing and adhere to the Very Vanilla cardstock so that the cross is in the top right corner.  Trim to fit.
  19. Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" and stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink.
  20. Cut Early Espresso cardstock 1 3/4" x 2 3/4"
  21. Adhere sentiment using Stampin' Seal.
  22. Adhere to the centre of card base using Dimensionals.
