Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop - Sweet Suite

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Melva Peters from Canada. I hope you enjoy my card featuring the Color & Contour Bundle and the beautiful new Pale Papaya In Color!

Instructions

Cut Misty Moonlight cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4"
Emboss the front using the Painted Texture embossing folder
Fold in half to form card base.
Stamp image using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a 3" x 4" piece of Basic White cardstock
Stamp inside of flower using Pale Papaya ink
Cut out using the 3rd largest die from the Scalloped Contours dies
Cut out 2nd largest die from Pale Papaya cardstock
Adhere stamped piece to Pale Papaya piece using Dimensionals.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut 6" of ribbon and fold in half. Adhere to the bottom of the stamped image using Stampin' Seal.
Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock.
Cut out using the smallest circle die from the Tasteful Labels Dies
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Genial Gems

Join me and some incredibly talented friends from the International Creativity Abounds Design Team on June 25^th and 26th for our first stamp camp featuring the Hand-Penned Product Suite!

About this Event
Are you ready for 9 amazing projects featuring the Hand-Penned Suite?

Your Hand-Penned Stamp Camp includes:
The Hand-Penned Petals Bundle, Hand-Penned 12”x12” Designer Series Paper and Genial Gems!
Make and Takes* for 9 projects and an awesome PDF for you to follow along while creating
YouTube videos for each of the projects for your reference
Access to an exclusive FB group where additional LIVE presentations will be held during the 2 days weekend (you can watch later, as well)!
Card stock will be prepped and ready for you with any of the die-cutting done that is not using your bundle.
You will provide your own ink and adhesive and will use the Designer Series Paper and Genial Gems from your purchased suite.
*Your kit will include cardstock for you to stamp on, but you will do the die cutting.

Today I'm participating in the Father's Day Blog Hop. I had fun creating this "Z Fold" card featuring the Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper and sentiments from the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set.

Instructions (Check out my YouTube video for tips and tricks)

Cut Basic Black Cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2".
Fold in half on 5 1/2" score line and then fold the front flap back to form card base.
Cut Very Vanilla Cardstock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Adhere to the inside of the card base using Stampin' Seal.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the inside of the card base using Stampin' Seal.
Cut 2 pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock 2 5/8" x 4 1/8"
Adhere to the front flaps of the card base using Stampin' Seal.
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 4"
Adhere to the front flaps of the card base using Stampin' Seal.
Cut Basic Black cardstock 3" x 11" and score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2"
Fold in half on 5 1/2" score line and then fold the front flap back to form card base.
Turn the piece so that the 5 1/2" side is at the front. Add Tear and Tape Adhesive or Stampin' Seal to the left and right 3" edges.
Adhere to the main card base - with the longest side at the top and aligned with left edge and the smaller flaps underneath and aligned with right edge.
Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 2 7/8" x 5 3/8" and emboss using Greenery Embossing Folder.
Adhere to the front of the small Basic Black piece using Stampin' Seal.
Cut 2 pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock 2 7/8" x 2 5/8" and adhere to the small flaps using Stampin' Seal.
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" and adhere to the small flaps using Stampin' Seal.
Cut out large tag from Basic Black cardstock and 2nd largest tag from Very Vanilla cardstock using Tailor Made Tag dies
Add trim through Basic Black Tag and tie with Very Vanilla Twine
Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla Tag using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Add Black Twine through Very Vanilla Tag
Adhere Very Vanilla Tag to Basic Black Tag using Dimensionals.
Adhere Basic Black Tag to card front using Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock.
Cut out with Paper Snips
Adhere to the inside of the card
Adhere Black Matte Dots to front of card

My card today features the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. I'm having so much fun with this stamp set and will be sharing more cards in upcoming blog posts! I've coordinated my card with the Greenery Embossing Folder - I love combining old and new products!

Instructions

Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
Cut Bumblebee cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss on the right hand side with the Greenery embossing Folder.
Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 2 1/4" x 4 7/8"
Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 2" x 4 5/8"
Stamp flower using Bumblebee ink.
Adhere to the Crumb Cake cardstock using Stampin' Seal.
Wrap Crumb Cake Twine around piece 3 time and tie a small bow.
Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock
Cut out using circle die from Tasteful Labels Dies.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere 3 Playing with Patterns Resin Dots to the card base.
