Creativity Abounds Blog Hop - March 2024 - Anything But a Card

Time for another Creativity Abounds Blog Hop! We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own. You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

Our theme this month is "Anything But a Card". I've been in the Netherlands attending the Stampin' Up! Onstage Conference and enjoying the beautiful sights of Amsterdam and Rotterdam! It's been so amazing to catch up with old and new friends at the conference. One of the cool things that happens at any Stampin' Up! event is swapping. Check out my swaps for Onstage. I bought Maple flavoured candy in the shape of maple leafs (how Canadian) and packaged them in clear envelopes. The topper is created using Deckled Circle Dies and decorated using the Latte Love Bundle and pretty Polka Dot Ribbon and Swirl Dots. I added a scissor charm with a Canadian Flag for the swaps I will hand out at Onstage and an extra windmill charm for my friends that I am travelling with. A little something extra to remember our amazing trip.

Instructions

Cut a circle using the 4th largest Deckled Circle die from Early Espresso cardstock
Fold in half
Cut a circle using the 5th largest Deckled Circle die from Designer Series Paper - cut in half
Adhere to the front of the Early Espresso circle
Stamp heart on Basic White cardstock using Crumb Cake ink
Punch out using 1 3/4" Circle Punch
Cut Calypso Coral cardstock 1/2" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink
Cut 2 pieces of ribbon 1" long
Place over the top of Clear envelope and arrange ribbon on left side. Staple to the top of the envelope
Adhere sentiment over top of ribbon (and staple) using Dimensionals
Adhere Swirl Dot
Adhere back of flap onto envelope using Tear and Tape.
Punch hole in side and insert scissor charm.

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects

Option 2 - If you have the products for the technique - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Saturday, April 20 - 9:30 - 11:30am Pacific - Watercolour Techniques

Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes Make and Take Kit with 4 projects, PDF Tutorial, recording of class and 1/2 package Fluid 100 Watercolor paper and 1 Stampin' Spritzer

Option 2 - If you have the products for the technique - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Saturday, May 18 - 9:30 - 11:30am Pacific - Stampin' Blends

Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes Make and Take Kit with 4 projects, PDF Tutorial, recording of class and 2 packages of Stampin' Blends (colours of your choice)

Option 2 - If you have the products for the technique - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Saturday, June 15 - 9:30 - 11:30am Pacific - Embossing

You need Embossing Powder and Versamark for this class - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

This month the club features the Hot Air Balloon bundle from the Stampin' Up! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue. which is an Online Exclusive being released in March. Add the stamp set to your order for an additional $34.81. Add the bundle (stamp set and dies) and your class is free!

You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, 1/2 package Rainbow Dots and the Lighter Than Air Baker's Twine. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed or you can get for free without the product above with a minimum $45 order!

You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
