International Blog Highlights Winners Hop - February 2021

I’m so excited to be featured in the the International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top ten of the February 2021 International Highlights. Thank you to everyone who voted for my card! The theme for the International Blog Highlights is "Thank You"! Here's my Hydrangea Haven Easel Card that I shared in the International Highlights Blog Hop.
Today I'm sharing a card featuring the Butterfly Brilliance stampset that will be available to purchase starting on March 2nd. It is a pre-order of a bundle that will be available in the Annual Catalogue that launches in June! The only way to get it now is to join my Team and shop at a discount!
The stampset is amazing with 6 gorgeous butterflies! It's all one stamp, but cuts out using the coordinating die! I used it as a background stamp on today's card. I created the beautiful background for the butterflies using my WaterPainter and Reinkers - it was so easy. Check out my YouTube video showing you just how easy it was. I was inspired by Beth McCullough and a demonstration she did on the Creativity Abounds Day of Inspiration event. Thanks Beth!
Instructions
- Cut Pool Party cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to form a card base.
- Cut Daffodil Delight 4" x 5 1/4".
- Cut Shimmery White cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
- Add 3-4 drops of water to one drop of Mint Macaron re-inker and use your broad brush WaterPainter to apply to the bottom of the Shimmery White cardstock - about 1 1/2" wide
- Repeat using Pool Party and Daffodil Delight.
- Let the cardstock dry or dry with your Heat Tool.
- Stamp the butterfly images using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Trim the Shimmery White cardstock piece to 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to the Daffodil Delight piece using Stampin' Seal.
- Wrap ribbon around piece about 1 1/2" from bottom and tie a bow on the left hand side.
- Adhere to the card base using Stampin' Seal.
- Cut Shimmery White cardstock 3/4" x 2 5/8"
- Stamp sentiment using Pool Party ink
- Cut Pool Party cardstock 1" x 2 3/4"
- Punch both pieces out using Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.
- Adhere the Shimmery White piece to the Pool Party piece using Dimensionals.
- Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
